Dubai Safari Park opened its Season 8 to visitors on 12 October 2026. For the first time, the season opens with a week-long celebration, the ‘Wildest Opening Week’, running from 12 to 18 October to coincide with the schools’ mid-term break.
Themed ‘Live More Wild Life’, the new season builds on the park’s three pillars of conservation, education and entertainment, and aims to help guests form a deeper connection with wildlife and nature.
At the heart of the opening week is the ‘Little Explorers’ Base Camp’, an adventure zone created for younger visitors. Children can try safari face painting, a temporary tattoo station, clay model making, arts and crafts, lawn games and safari-themed inflatables. For all ages, the celebration also offers personalised keepsakes and photography and art activities.
Beyond the opening week, the park’s six themed zones offer a range of experiences through the season:
- Safari adventures: the Arabian Desert Safari is included with every park ticket. The Safari Bundle upgrade adds the Explorer Safari Tour, which takes guests into open-range habitats to see lions, giraffes and rhinos, including Salam the baby white rhino and Dalia the giraffe.
- Premium experiences: King of Safari, Behind the Scenes, Dine in the Wild and Jungle Capture offer private tours, exclusive access and dining close to the animals.
- Live presentations: Bird’s Kingdom, Echoes of the Wild and Birds of Prey give insight into animal behaviour and the park’s conservation work.
Why it matters for the trade
With Dubai’s cooler months now under way, Season 8 adds a strong family attraction to Dubai itineraries this winter. The premium add-ons, from private safari tours to dining in the wild, also give partners scope to build higher-value packages for families, couples and small groups.
