VFS Global has launched the first official and exclusive electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) digital solution for the convenience and comfort of travellers planning to visit Vietnam. This solution has been launched through an exclusive partnership between VFS Global and the Embassy of Vietnam.

Eligible travellers can apply for the Vietnam e-VOA service by submitting their applications on https://vietnam.vfsevisa.com/ before departure from a location of their choice anywhere in world through their personal handsets or computers, in a secure manner.

The advanced and digitally integrated solution developed by VFS Global (as an exclusive service provider to the Embassy of Vietnam in India) will offer e-VOA applicants a digital wallet/locker (which ensures high levels of data protection). This includes scanned copies of their passport, live facial biometric capture and finally, the receipt of their e-VOA approval letters once approved. Customers can also make online payments using the portal.

In 2019, more than 18 million travellers visited Vietnam from across the globe compared to 15 million travellers in 2018.
