Vista Rooms opens doors to exquisite stays in the North-East

Vista Rooms launches its North-East chapter with its properties in Sikkim.

La Ipsing Farm is a gorgeous organic farm in the lap of the mountains and the midst of a thick forest. With over a thousand orange orchids and rare birds for company, it’s perfect for a group of 6-9 for a nature getaway just hours from Gangtok.

An in-house cook will be happy to whip up local delicacies too! In Tadong, Gangtok, Debrung offers a slice of the local urban Gangtok life with food, sights and culture available in generous doses. Within walking distance are the city’s best karaoke bars, Tibetan food joints and the local market.

You can choose to rent out a single room or the entire property, which can house up to 11 guests. Offering another side of the Gangtok life is Orchid Glade, a fascinating wooden house that comes with an open garden and offers unparalleled valley views. Between these three properties, one is sure to have a great taste of the local Sikkim culture that’s impossible to get at regular hotels.

Amit Damani, Co-Founder, Vista Rooms said, “Sikkim is culturally rich, with amazing access to nature and extremely friendly locals. Our Sikkim properties are the first of many others that we will open in the region, and I can assure our guests that their Vista Rooms home will give them an experience they will never forget!”

The North-East is one of the fastest growing regions for tourism in India. The presence of numerous tribes, coupled with a rich flora fauna, makes the region perfect for holidays. With infrastructure and flight connectivity improving, it is now the most accessible it has ever been.

The rental vacation stays sector is estimated to cross US$ 362 mn. by 2023. Vista Rooms has carved out its niche by offering 5-star living in India’s top 1% homes that were thus far, inaccessible to the luxury holiday goer. Founded by avid travellers Ankita Sheth, Pranav Maheshwari and Amit Damani, Vista Rooms offers homes that keep the complete comfort of guests first.

Besides top-of-the-line quality control, many of these homes come with luxuries such as infinity pools, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, home theatres and game facilities, with unmatched views. Despite its high standards, its rates are very competitive, almost unbelievably so.

Till date, over 300,000 happy travellers have experienced the Vista Rooms holiday, that has been featured on various global media platforms such as Nat Geo Traveller, Lonely Planet, Netflix, Living Foodz and more. With the opening of its North-East operations, Vista Rooms has put into action its next stage of their expansion strategy.

With over 300 boutique and luxury homes in India and Sri Lanka, Vista Rooms offers the rarest views of the most stunning corners of the countries.
