BLADE India resumes Shirdi operations

BLADE India, one of the pioneers in Urban Air Mobility space in the country, announced the resumption of their by-the-seat service to Shirdi from Mumbai recently.

Mumbai-Shirdi takes 6-7 hours on the road with devotees having to spend two days to complete their trip. With BLADE, customers can fly to Shirdi comfortably in an hour, and be back on the same day.

BLADE India is also offering customers who are in need of special assistance or an end-to-end holistic travel experience, a VIP darshan service during their pilgrimage, at an add-on-price. Customers can relax and treat themselves to varied F&B options available  at the BLADE lounge in Shirdi before or after their darshan. The lounges are staffed with a highly skilled Customer experience team that guides and helps the fliers with all their travel needs.

BLADE will be flying from Mahalaxmi vertiport every Monday and from Juhu vertiport on Thursday and Saturday at 11 AM. The by-the-seat service is priced at INR 18,000 + GST for one way/passenger. However, the brand  has introduced a limited-period introductory price of INR 15,300 for one way/passenger.

People traveling in a group may also crowdsource the entire craft or avail the BLADE Anywhere personalised charter service, which recently started charters to Goa from Pune and Mumbai.  A trusted UAM lifestyle service, BLADE provides a safe, personalized, hassle free and convenient option for travellers.

Speaking on the resumption of Shirdi operations, Amit Dutta, Managing Director – BLADE India said, ”Enduring long hours of road travel to Shirdi is very time consuming and tedious  for the devotees, especially the elderly. We aim to make places more accessible and travel more convenient for our fliers by introducing routes to solve the pain point of congestion and commute.”

With the stipulated safety and hygiene concerns in mind for passengers and staff, BLADE India ensures safety and hygiene protocols are maintained at the lounges and inside the aircrafts. BLADE has implemented guidelines issued by the GOI, WHO and industry leading Health, Safety and Sanitisation protocols designed by its parent company, FLY BLADE USA. Safety measures include regular testing of the crew, contactless temperature checks of passengers and crew, masks and face shields for all aboard, sanitisation of the lounges and cars, aircraft decontamination with an airline-grade fogging system after each flight.

BLADE aims to build a network of short haul routes that aren’t as accessible and cut the travel time significantly by providing a seamless, comfortable and convenient travel solution through its by the seat offering.
Information on BLADE by-the-seat and BLADE Anywhere, daily flights and other BLADE services and travel routes is accessible on the BLADE India website, www.flyblade.in, on their mobile application BLADE; available for iOS and Android. BLADE Flier Relations team can be contacted on 1800-102-5233.
