Extreme sports have become increasingly popular in recent years. Bungy jumping, Giant swing, Flying Fox and water rafting, for example, continue to attract increasing numbers of people each year. People are keen to go beyond basic tourism and are interested in exploring a place through its experiences—a trend now known as experiential tourism. This is most likely due to a variety of reasons, ranging from the availability of a variety of avenues, the heightened adrenaline rush to the thrill and novelty of adventure sports. Adventure sports by pushing people out of their comfort zones,allows them to discover their inner potential by facing their fears and a chance of overcoming them. Here’s how adventure sports can help you tap into your inner strength:

Stress reliever: Stress has become an inextricable component of modern life, particularly in light of the pandemic. Adventure sports have been shown to, ironically, be effective stress relievers by forcing a different kind of stress—an intense mental challenge that shuts all out, and offers the thrill of overcoming it. The adrenaline rush onegets from diving through the air with bungy jumping is phenomenally cathartic, freeing and glorious. It doesn’t allow for any spacefor troubles, large or small, and captures the jumper in the moment. Adventure sports are an invitation to feel afresh the experience of being alive. An individual is jolted from his brooding thoughts and pushed into the present. This can be both captivating as well as relaxing.
