Hyatt Pune Celebrates Chef’s International Day

While there are routines in every hotel kitchen, each day creates plenty of possibilities for breaking the mold and trying something new. Chefs have the power to customize the day to their preferences, whether it be for a unique event or a special menu. As a result, they are referred to as the hotel’s soul.

Through the meal they prepare, the presentation they showcase, and the garnish they create, chefs exhibit innovation. It is challenging to be creative and attentive every day when our chefs effortlessly carry these qualities every passing day.

To honor chefs’ tenacity and enthusiasm, a fun cooking competition was held by Hyatt Pune to commemorate the kitchen department on International chef’s day.

Everyone from the housekeeping, culinary, front office, and F&B departments engaged enthusiastically in the joyful interdepartmental event. The team raced around to whip up the tastiest meals they could as the clock ran down.

Additionally, the team set up a mocktail-making competition in which each competitor had 20 minutes to create any two fancy mocktails.

I am thrilled to witness the fervor and teamwork in our participants as they have gathered together today for an exciting competition,” says Kamal Deep Sharma, Director of Sales & Marketing Hyatt Pune.

The winner of the cooking show-off was Mrs. Ashwini from the Security department, Sakshi from HR department, and Sona from Housekeeping where as Jayashree and Atharva won the mocktail-making competition from Housekeeping and Front Office departments respectively.

The ceremony was concluded by cutting a cake for the culinary department.
