Tivoli Hospitality Group has significantly expanded Omnia Convention by Tivoli in Gurugram, adding a substantial volume of accommodation and event infrastructure to the property. Previously a 40-room property with two banquet venues, Omnia now operates with 152 rooms, four banquet venues, four lawns, two poolside venues, six suites, and a second dining destination.
The expansion is aimed at the growing demand for large-scale wedding and MICE venues in the Badshahpur-Bhondsi catchment, an area Tivoli says has limited availability of large, integrated hospitality venues despite rapid development in recent years. With the added inventory, Omnia is now positioned to accommodate large weddings, corporate events and multi-day programmes within a single property.
“The Badshahpur-Bhondsi belt has been developing rapidly, but there is still a gap when it comes to large-scale venues that can bring together accommodation, banqueting, lawns, poolside experiences and dining under one roof. With this expansion, we are addressing that gap and creating greater capacity for the wedding and MICE business coming into this part of Gurugram,” said Akshay Gupta, Executive Director, Tivoli Hospitality Group.
“This expansion marks an important step in our Gurugram journey. We have taken Omnia from a 40-room, two-banquet property to a 152-key destination with four banquet venues and two poolside spaces. The objective is to offer the scale and flexibility required for larger weddings, social celebrations, conferences, corporate offsites and residential MICE programmes,” Gupta added.
Accommodation and Banquet Expansion
The room expansion comprises 106 new Executive Rooms, each measuring 300 sq. ft., alongside six new Suites with attached living rooms. The property’s original 40 rooms, also 300 sq. ft. each, remain available in King and Twin configurations.
On the events side, two new venues have been added: Grand Ballroom II, an 11,000 sq. ft. indoor venue with an attached lawn accommodating up to 400 guests, and Omnia Lumina – Glass House, a 7,000 sq. ft. indoor venue with an attached lawn for up to 250 guests. Both are designed to host weddings, social celebrations, conferences, corporate events and networking functions.
The property’s existing venues — Grand Ballroom (GBR) and Not The Banquet (NTB) — each offer 16,000 sq. ft. of indoor space with a matching 16,000 sq. ft. attached lawn, accommodating between 300 and 1,500 guests.
In total, Omnia now operates four banquet venues supported by four lawns, including two new 12,000 sq. ft. lawns, giving the property flexibility across multiple event scales and formats. “The addition of two new banquet venues gives us four distinct formats, supported by four lawns, allowing us to cater to different scales and styles of weddings as well as conferences, conventions and corporate gatherings. Grand Ballroom II offers a more substantial format, while Glass House brings a contemporary, social character to the mix,” Gupta said.
Poolside and Dining Additions
The property has also added a second poolside venue, Aqua by the Pool, alongside the existing Aria by the Pool. Aqua is positioned for corporate mixers, networking events, cocktails and intimate social and pre-wedding celebrations.
On the dining front, Omnia has introduced The Pavilion – Coffee House, a 150-plus seater outlet serving Indian, Asian and international cuisines, complementing the existing 100-plus seater Emerald Restaurant, which serves Indian, Chinese, Italian and Japanese cuisine.
“The expanded Omnia allows us to cater to larger wedding groups and MICE programmes while offering guests accommodation, celebrations, dining and leisure experiences within one property,” Gupta said.
With this expansion — from 40 to 152 keys, two to four banquet venues, and one to two poolside venues, alongside four new banquet lawns, six suites and a second dining destination — Tivoli has significantly strengthened its position in the Badshahpur-Bhondsi belt and the wider Gurugram wedding and MICE market.
