Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett, its second resort in the Corbett landscape and 11th property in Uttarakhand, expanding its curated wildlife portfolio to 13 resorts with over 480 rooms and suites nationally.
The launch reinforces Sterling’s destination-cluster strategy across India’s wildlife and nature regions, as travellers increasingly seek longer, experience-led stays over conventional sightseeing-driven trips.
Located in the tranquil Bail Parao–Kaladhungi belt of Ramnagar, the new resort offers convenient access to the wider Corbett landscape while positioning itself as a quieter, more spacious alternative to the destination’s busier tourism zones — complementing rather than competing with Sterling’s existing Corbett property, and giving travellers more flexibility in how they explore the region.
Designed for families, couples, celebration-led travel and corporate retreats, Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett features 46 rooms across five categories, including options with private sit-outs, balconies and exclusive plunge pools. The property also houses a swimming pool, a spa, Nectar — its all-day dining restaurant — and a range of curated outdoor experiences. A 2,800 sq. ft. banquet hall, supported by two landscaped lawns, adds a dedicated events proposition aimed at destination weddings, social celebrations, corporate offsites and incentive travel.
Beyond the resort itself, guests have access to the wider Corbett region through safaris across multiple forest zones including Phato and Sitabani, birdwatching trails, plantation walks, and local cultural sites such as Chhoi Village, Shri Hanuman Dham, the Jim Corbett Museum and Corbett Falls.
With this addition, Sterling now operates one of India’s most diversified wildlife resort portfolios, spanning tiger reserves, lion habitats, rainforest ecosystems and Himalayan forests, with properties across Corbett, Gir, Kanha, Pench, Ranthambore, Sariska, Thekkady, Wayanad, Anaikatti and Tipeshwar.
“Wildlife tourism in India is undergoing a significant transformation. Travellers today are looking for experiences that extend well beyond the safari — they want longer stays, meaningful engagement with nature and authentic connections with local landscapes and communities,” said Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts.
“Our strategy has been to build destination clusters across India’s most iconic wildlife regions, enabling guests to experience these destinations in richer and more diverse ways while enjoying the consistency of Sterling’s hospitality. Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett is another important milestone in strengthening that vision.”
The resort is a partnership with Shreena Hospitalities Pvt Ltd. “Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett was envisioned as a peaceful, nature-connected retreat that complements the wider Corbett experience,” said Shailendra Goswami and Amit Aggarwal, partners at Shreena Hospitalities. “Partnering with Sterling enables us to bring together the resort’s distinctive location and design with the scale, trust and hospitality expertise of the Sterling brand.”
The launch further strengthens Sterling’s presence across Uttarakhand as part of its broader push into India’s high-potential experiential travel segments, including wildlife, mountains, wellness, pilgrimage and heritage tourism.
