Salvia Promoters to Represent Arkhangelsk Tourism Board, Opening Doors to Russian Arctic Adventure for Indian Travelers

Salvia Promoters, a prominent tourism representation firm, has recently finalized an agreement with the Arkhangelsk Tourism Board to serve as its representative in India. This collaboration aims to bolster tourism from India to the Russian Arctic region, particularly the captivating city of Arkhangelsk.

Nestled by the shores of the White Sea, Arkhangelsk offers a unique blend of historical allure and natural splendor. Despite being off the traditional tourist trail, this hidden gem boasts an abundance of cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes, promising an unforgettable experience for intrepid travelers.

The agreement was formally signed by Mishin Sergey, Head of the Centre for Development of Tourism and Culture of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Arkhangelsk Region, and Prashant Chaudhary, Head of Salvia Promoters. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Anna Tyutrina, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Government of Arkhangelsk Region.

Prashant Chaudhary, speaking on behalf of Salvia Promoters, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the company’s commitment to showcasing Arkhangelsk’s hidden treasures to Indian tourists. He mentioned ‘‘We have already organised the first FAM trip from India to Arkhangelsk and we are planning to organise more such FAM trips to this beautiful region. Arkhangelsk is an unexplored region for Indians and now they can discover the hidden gems of Russia, but also add this beautiful and unique region to their itineraries.”

To promote Arkhangelsk and the broader Russian Arctic in India, a series of promotional activities will be undertaken. These efforts will initially focus on engaging with the business-to-business (B2B) segment of the Indian tourism industry through participation in tourism exhibitions and roadshows across various cities nationwide.

Arkhangelsk and the Russian Arctic may not yet feature prominently on every traveler’s itinerary, but Salvia Promoters and the Arkhangelsk Tourism Board are determined to change that perception. Together, they aim to showcase the region’s rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural wonders, welcoming Indian tourists to embark on an unforgettable journey to this unique corner of Russia.
