Famed international travel show to make its India debut soon

The tourism and hospitality sector has been one of the worst hit post the pandemic outbreak. The industry stakeholders have taken many initiatives to revive the sector in 2021. The early bird registrations are in full swing for the highly anticipated international event, ‘TTS’ that is focused to instil confidence amongst the sector players.

The Travel Show (TTS) roadshow is finally coming to India in November 2021. Dr Naveen Manchanda, the official representative of India at TTS described the unique show as a hybrid technology-enabled event. The travel show is critically acclaimed globally because of its unique concept. The preferred partner for TTS in India is the Indian Association of Travel & Tourism Experts (IATTE). The vast professional network of IATTE offers numerous opportunities to generate business for the self-employed tour operators, tourism startups, SMEs and well established travel agencies.

The first two days of TTS (17th & 18th, November) will comprise online events that can be accessed through video conferencing. While, the remaining five days (19th to 24th November) will consist of offline physical roadshows in Delhi-NCR, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. The core committee of IATTE in association with TTS is looking forward to welcoming the exhibitors from Europe, India, Maldives and many other parts of the world. Thousands of buyers from Delhi-NCR, Jaipur and Ahmedabad will witness the latest offerings from these exhibitors in the week-long event.

The Italian co-founder of TTS, Adriana Miori conveyed her excitement, “We are looking forward to the first edition of the TTS roadshow in India. India is one of the biggest markets for outbound tourism. We have full confidence that under Dr Manchanda’s leadership the Indian edition of TTS will be a grand success.”

Veena Robinson, General Secretary IATTE shared that in addition to the B2B meetings, several conferences and seminars that will be organized during the TTS Roadshow will help address matters of global concern such as women empowerment in the tourism industry in the post COVID world.

The 7-day gala will culminate with the TTS awards. The TTS awards will be organized in Ahemdabad and will recognize the contribution of stalwarts from the tourism fraternity. An international jury will evaluate and choose winners across multiple categories of awards. Some of the confirmed jury members are Adriana Miori from Italy (Co-Founder of The travel show), Karine Coulanges from France (President of Skal International Paris), Subhash Verma from India (National advisor with IATTE) and Jeannette Ceja from the USA (eminent travel journalist).

IATTE is currently registering individual agents, travel agencies, tour operators as well as hospitality providers for participation in the TTS roadshow. Interested members of the fraternity can get in touch with any of the IATTE core members or email to info@thetravelshow.eu for special early bird offers.
