GoAir’s international passengers can now check-in at New Delhi Metro Station

GoAir has recently inaugurated its first city check-in counter at the New Delhi Metro Station.

GoAir international passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi, Phuket, Bangkok, Muscat and Malé can now avail the facility of checking-in their luggage at the New Delhi Metro station up to 6 hours prior to their flight time. The passengers will be issued their boarding pass as soon as they check-in their luggage at the GoAir counter at the Metro station. Passengers will have the option to spend their valuable time in the city and just reach the airport directly in time to board the flight.

It takes merely 17 minutes to reach Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi by the metro train. This initiative truly lives up to GoAir’s promise of ‘Fly Smart’ for its passengers: not only cutting down travel time on Delhi roads but also allowing the travelers to commute to the airport without having to carry their luggage themselves.

Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir said, “India’s aviation infrastructure is being upgraded at every level and the city-check-in facility is the right step in that direction. GoAir has always been at the forefront of adopting technology and harnessing it for the good of its passengers. I strongly believe that the international travelers will appreciate the benefits of city-check-in and make the most of it. Ultimately everything in life is about having more and quality time for yourself.”

GoAir currently operates 325+ daily flights and carried around 13.27 lakh passengers in the month of September 2019. GoAir flies to 25 domestic destinations including Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Kannur, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair, Pune, Ranchi and Srinagar.
