ATOAI elects new leadership team unopposed

Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the period 21-22 and held elections for the new leadership team on September 21, 2022 (Wednesday) at The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa New Delhi.

Rajiv Kohli, Joint Managing Director, Creative Travel who was the returning officer announced the new Office Bearers and Executive Committee of the association. The new leadership team that will hold office for the next two years was elected unopposed.

The new ATOAI team will continue to work diligently for the sustainable growth of adventure travel in India by taking forward the association’s aims and shaping government policy for this sector.

With the formation of the National Board for Adventure Tourism by the Ministry of Tourism and ATOAI as one of the core members of the board, the association has spelled out all of its concerns, areas of focus, attention to India’s international rankings, and bringing global standards with a strong emphasis on safety, risk mitigation, sustainability and improving the country’s reputation in the global adventure travel market.

The AGM passed the accounts for financial year 2021-22 and appointment of SRBP & Associates as the auditor for the Financial Year 2022-23.
