TAT New Delhi organizes situation update & networking lunch for travel trade in Jaipur

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi Office invited a few travel agents, wedding planners, travel media and mainstream local media in Jaipur for a situation update and destination presentation followed by a networking lunch recently.

The event that took place at Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur saw selected guests invited while keeping the pandemic situation, health and social measures in mind.

TAT Team updated the Jaipur invitees on the travel and tourism situation in Thailand currently.
Director TAT New Delhi, Vachirachai Sirisumpan shared information on the latest approved special tourist visa and tourist visa guidelines which at present are available and Covid protocols in Thailand, while Pinki Arora, Marketing Representative North & East India, Bangladesh & Nepal, TAT presented the information on destinations and new products.

The agents and media were curious to know when leisure travel for Indians would be possible and they can visit Thailand without quarantine. 

The wedding planners present were looking forward to updates on the possibility of bubble weddings in Thailand for Indians.

The networking lunch meeting was a great way to re-connect with the travel agents and keep Thailand as “top of the mind destination”. It also helped to get an understanding of the trend of domestic and international tourism from India.
