Treasure Group Awarded LOA by Madhya Pradesh Government to Boost Tourism and Luxury Infrastructure

In a major boost to Madhya Pradesh’s tourism and luxury infrastructure, the Treasure Group has been officially awarded the Letter of Award (LOA) by the Government of Madhya Pradesh for a series of high-value tourism projects aimed at redefining the state’s hospitality and leisure landscape.

The announcement was made during the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025, held at the Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Centre, Bhopal, in the presence of Honourable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan YadavUnion Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and State Tourism Minister Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, alongside several dignitaries and industry leaders.

The Treasure Group, best known for bringing India’s 8th and Madhya Pradesh’s first mall in 2004 and introducing several international brands to the country, has unveiled a bold roadmap to elevate the state’s global tourism appeal.

As part of its new ventures, the group will develop the region’s first 18-hole international championship golf courseand a world-class luxury wellness centre in Neenod, near Sanchi. This pioneering project aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a sought-after destination for sports tourism and wellness retreats, attracting high-value travelers from across India and abroad.

Further expanding its footprint, the group will also partner with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department to establish a world-class luxury resort at Najarpura Island, envisioned as a multi-themed leisure destination. The project aligns with the Chief Minister’s vision of creating world-class tourism experiences that combine natural beauty with cutting-edge hospitality.

Receiving the LOA, Vinayak Kalani, Managing Director & CEO of Treasure Group, reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to Madhya Pradesh’s growth story. The Group has pledged an investment of ₹450 crore towards these transformative tourism projects, a move that is expected to create new employment opportunities, strengthen the state’s luxury tourism sector, and attract global attention.

These landmark projects are poised to redefine Madhya Pradesh’s tourism narrative—merging natural heritage with modern luxury. With enhanced connectivity, hospitality innovation, and international-standard experiences, the collaboration between the Treasure Group and the state government signals a new era of integrated tourism development.
