In a strategic initiative to expand its footprint in the Indian travel market, the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) has officially appointed Think Strawberries as its representative in India. The partnership aims to position Georgia as a leading travel destination for Indian tourists by aligning with the growing demand for culturally enriching and nature-driven experiences.

Situated in the Caucasus region, at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and West Asia, Georgia is increasingly gaining recognition as an emerging gem among global travelers. The country boasts diverse landscapes, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, centuries-old winemaking traditions, and a culture deeply rooted in warmth and hospitality. With its blend of heritage, adventure, and modern amenities, Georgia presents a compelling destination for Indian travelers seeking unique and immersive journeys.

We are delighted to collaborate with Think Strawberries to showcase Georgia’s vibrant heritage, breathtaking scenery and warm-hearted people to Indian audiences,” said Maia Omiadze, Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration. “India is a market of immense potential, and we believe this partnership will significantly enhance tourism ties between our nations.”

In 2024, Georgia recorded impressive growth in international arrivals, with 5,091,732 visitors, underscoring the country’s rising prominence on the global tourism map. Through this collaboration, Think Strawberries will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive market strategy, focusing on sales, marketing and public relations initiatives to drive visitation from India.

Speaking on the appointment, Munnmunn Marwah, Chief Operating Officer at Think Strawberries, remarked “We are pleased to be entrusted with the responsibility of representing the Georgia Tourism Board in India. Our efforts will centre on positioning Georgia as a must-visit destination by spotlighting its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural beauty, and diverse travel experiences. We look forward to fostering strong collaborations with the Indian travel trade and media to drive meaningful engagement.
