A Botanical Affair at Drunken Botanist, Gurgaon

Located in the bustling heart of CyberHub, Drunken Botanist is a lush escape into a whimsical world where mixology meets culinary flair. With its verdant interiors, inventive cocktails, and global menu, the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between being vibrant yet refined — a welcome retreat whether you’re out for cocktails or a leisurely meal.

Sips That Spark Curiosity

We began our evening with a round of creative concoctions. The Tropical Long Island Iced Tea was a heady, citrusy spin on the classic, served with flair and just the right hit of tropical sweetness. The Cucumber Cooler offered a refreshing, herbaceous contrast — ideal for the summer heat — while the Pom Berry, with its tangy notes of pomegranate and berries, was visually striking and palate-pleasing.

A Vegetarian Delight, Reimagined

Vegetarians are in for a treat at Drunken Botanist. The Asparagus Tempura Roll was delicate yet full of flavor, with a crisp coating giving way to perfectly cooked asparagus. But it was the Pickled Beetroot Rice Sushi that stood out — an inventive take that offered earthiness and acidity in perfect proportion, beautifully plated and surprisingly addictive.

Global Inspirations, Local Surprises

From Asia to India with a twist — the Poached Chicken Dumplings were comforting, subtly spiced, and generously filled, pairing well with the spicy dipping sauce. The Whole Bhature Tacos were an ingenious fusion dish — think soft bhaturas folded like tacos, stuffed with chole and a hint of tangy slaw. It’s a dish that pays homage to Indian street food while elevating it to gourmet territory.

For the Soul and the Sweet Tooth
The Wild Mushroom Truffle Soup was the kind of warm, umami-rich bowl that feels like a hug in a cup. Creamy, aromatic, and indulgent, it’s a must-try for mushroom lovers. We ended on a sweet note with the Classic Tres Leches — soft sponge cake soaked in three kinds of milk, topped with whipped cream. It was light, not overly sweet, and a perfect finale to the meal.

Drunken Botanist isn’t just about quirky decor and botanical-inspired drinks — it’s a place where thoughtful food meets playful experimentation. Whether you’re in the mood for modern Indian comfort or international bites, this spot surprises you with every course. Ideal for groups, date nights, or a casual business meet, it’s a must-visit in Gurgaon’s ever-growing dining scene.
