Madhya Pradesh Tourism Concludes Successful Roadshow boasting unique offerings in Ahmedabad

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s roadshow in Ahmedabad, aimed at showcasing the state’s incredible tourism offerings and fostering collaboration between key industry stakeholders, concluded on a high note. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Madhya Pradesh’s Tourism and Ahmedabad’s local stakeholders, resulting in promising partnerships and greater prospects for tourism in the “Heart of Incredible India.”

The state is undoubtedly a treasure trove of tourism experiences and an “Offbeat Multispecialty Destination of First Choice”. With the rapid transformation in the tourism industry, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is committed to organising comprehensive workshops nationwide. This comprehensive workshop highlighted the tourism offerings of the state to foster collaboration between key industry stakeholders.

Madhya Pradesh is surely the greenest state renowned as the ‘Tiger State of India’ with 785 tigers and the ‘Cheetah State of India’. It is also the cleanest and safest tourist destination which has set a new tourism record in tourist footfalls in 2023 which is 112.1 million compared to 34.1 million in 2022. One of the most significant aspects of the ‘MPT Roadshow’ was the participation of the key stakeholders from Madhya Pradesh’s tourism industry, including travel agents, tour operators, and hoteliers. They shook hands with their counterparts in Ahmedabad to create networks and partnerships that will enhance tourism prospects for the state. This collaborative effort will not only promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh but also facilitate tourism flows between the two states.

MP is not only boasts a remarkable blend of history, culture, and natural beauty but also emerging as a state of spiritual tourism by the overwhelming numbers at the Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, Raja Ram Temple in Orchha which is set to be developed as the Raja Ram Lok. The tallest statue of Adi Shankaracharya in India (108 ft.) is already attracting Tourists around the corner.

Minister of Tourism, Culture, Religious Trust and Endowments Department (Independent Charge), Shri Dharmendra Lodhi said that roadshows are organised in various cities with the objective of promoting the glorious and splendid tourism offerings of Madhya Pradesh across the country. In this series, a roadshow has been organised in Ahmedabad. Travel agents and tour operators from Gujarat were made aware about tourist destinations and various products of Madhya Pradesh.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director, of MP Tourism Board Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla (IAS), highlighted, “We are satisfied with the outcome of our roadshow in Ahmedabad. It reaffirms our belief in the importance of collaboration within the tourism industry. The partnerships forged during this event will undoubtedly enhance tourism prospects for both Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The roadshow not only deepened the understanding of Madhya Pradesh’s tourism potential among Ahmedabad’s residents but also established strong bonds between the two regions, encouraging travellers to explore the beauty and diversity of Madhya Pradesh. We are excited to continue working closely with our Ahmedabad counterparts and exploring new avenues for collaboration, marketing, and tourism promotion. We are also delighted to inform you that unique and much-anticipated jungle safari states are set to begin on 1st October 2023.”
