TravelBullz and Scoot host exclusive familiarization trip for Punjab travel agents to Thailand

TravelBullz, a leading wholesale travel business and Destination Management Company (DMC) in Southeast Asia, teamed up with Scoot, a renowned low-cost carrier, to host an exclusive familiarization trip for travel agents from Punjab recently. The initiative was designed to strengthen ties with the region’s travel industry and promote tourism to Thailand.

The familiarization trip, which took place from July 29, 2024, was a strategic effort to provide Punjab’s travel agents with an immersive experience in two of Thailand’s most vibrant destinations: Bangkok and Pattaya. The initiative aimed to enhance the agents’ expertise and stimulate tourism growth from Punjab to Thailand by offering firsthand insights into these popular locales.

Selected travel agents from Punjab participated in the trip, which included guided tours of major landmarks, hotel visits, and networking opportunities with local tourism officials and industry experts. This experience allowed the agents to gain a deeper understanding of the attractions and services available in Bangkok and Pattaya, enhancing their ability to promote Thai tourism.

Kanwer Deep Singh, Founder and President of TravelBullz, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “This initiative not only recognized Punjab’s travel agents’ dedication but also aimed to empower them with deeper insights into Bangkok and Pattaya. It was a fantastic opportunity to foster greater enthusiasm for Thai tourism.”

Participants also experienced Scoot’s seamless connectivity to Thailand, showcasing the airline’s commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel options. The trip highlighted Scoot’s extensive flight network, which currently includes six destinations in Thailand: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hat Yai, Krabi, and the newly launched route to Koh Samui.

Brian Torrey, General Manager for West Asia & India at Scoot, commented, “It was indeed a pleasure to co-host the familiarization trip with TravelBullz, focusing on Scoot’s excellent flight connections to Thailand via Singapore. Scoot currently operates flights to six destinations in Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hat Yai, Krabi, and the newly launched flight to Koh Samui, with plans to add more to our flight network in Southeast Asia. The latter three destinations are served by Scoot’s newest Embraer E190-E2 fleet, which entered into service in May.”

This collaborative effort between TravelBullz and Scoot reflects their commitment to fostering strong relationships with the travel industry in Punjab and promoting Thailand as a top destination for Indian travellers.
