Book More, Win Big: Exciting new promotion to Boost travel to Hong Kong

In a bid to reignite interest in Hong Kong as a premier travel destination, CALLEO Distribution Technologies Pvt Ltd, an affiliate of ITQ, and the official distributor of Travelport in India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bhutan, has announced the launch of the “Book More, Win Big” contest. This promotion, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), is designed to drive bookings to Hong Kong, aligning with the ongoing “Summer Chill Hong Kong” campaign.

The contest encourages travel agents to increase their bookings to Hong Kong using the Travelport+ platform. Open to all travel agents in India who are Travelport GDS subscribers, the contest offers lucrative rewards for top performers, including a grand prize of a two-night, three-day trip to Hong Kong.

Contest Duration:

Start Date: August 9, 2024

End Date: September 19, 2024

Eligibility:

Open to all travel agents in India using the Travelport GDS.

Promotion Details:

The contest is based on PCC wise and is exclusively available to Travelport subscribers in India.

Prizes:

Grand Prize: A 2-night, 3-day trip to Hong Kong for the travel agent with the highest number of Hong Kong bookings on Travelport.

Runner-up and Weekly Prizes: Attractive HKTB and ITQ-Travelport branded merchandise hampers.

The HKTB has recently rolled out the “Summer Chill Hong Kong” promotional campaign to hand out 500,000 sets of “Summer Triple Rewards” to all overnight visitors to Hong Kong. Our trade partners can leverage this opportunity to offer special spending discounts in transport/sightseeing, dining, and retail to their customers.”

The first half of 2024 saw a significant increase in visitors from India to Hong Kong, with 181,000 arrivals—a 154.6% increase compared to the first half of 2023. With direct flights available from major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai, Hong Kong remains a convenient and attractive destination for Indian travelers. Additionally, Indian nationals can enjoy a 14-day visa-free visit to Hong Kong after successfully completing Pre-arrival Registration (PAR) online at no cost.
