Leading by example and breaking away from conventional member meetings, the Tourism India Alliance (TIA) recently launched its “Coffee & Connect” series in Jaipur for its members and special invitees.
Traditionally, such meetings have involved a one-sided format where the team speaks from the dais, and members simply listen. However, TIA Jaipur has transformed these meetings into dynamic and engaging sessions where everyone has the opportunity to speak, network, exchange ideas, and gain insights.
At the inaugural monthly “Coffee & Connect” meeting, TIA members from Jaipur gathered over excellent coffee to discuss various industry topics and share unique experiences from the past three months of the summer season. The discussions covered trending topics such as multigenerational travel, holidays to long-haul destinations, experiential MICE, high-end luxury travel, market research, and the positive transition to a service charge regime.
“Subject experts will also be invited to these meetings to share their knowledge with the members. This initiative is set to strengthen the community and keep everyone updated on the latest industry trends and best practices,” said Prashant Kothari, Vice President of TIA.
The “Coffee & Connect” series by TIA is set to become a regular monthly event, scheduled for the third Saturday of each month in all cities with more than ten members, including Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Mumbai, Raipur, and Delhi. This initiative aims to foster continuous engagement and knowledge sharing among TIA members.
