Tourism India Alliance (TIA) has established an MoU with the online cross-border remittance platform Pay2Remit by Xotik Travel and Forex. Pay2Remit is an advanced, technology driven platform that will be of great value to the alliance’s members for their overseas tour remittances. The platform also allows remittances of educational expenses and 17 different categories as per RBI regulations.
Xotik, a Corporate Member with TIA was incorporated in 2011 by Reserve bank of India as an Authorized Dealer Category – II to facilitate cross-border remittances from India under the Liberalized Remittance Scheme and trade in foreign currency. Currently, it is operating from 27 offline locations, including in all major cities and metros in India. They plan to add another 15 locations across the country by end of the current year.
