Spearheaded by Ajay Prakash (Nomad Travels), ‘Team For Change’ posted a resounding victory in the national elections of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), winning all the seats.
The elections results that were declared in the evening on Saturday (July 24) saw Prakash emerging victorious for the coveted post of TAFI’s President. Kamal Jadhwani (Tulip Travel Services) has been elected as the new Vice President while Abbas Moiz (Shoiz Travels) is the new Hony. Secretary of the association. Hitank Shah (Alka Airlink) has been elected as the new Hony. Treasurer of TAFI.
Contesting under the banner of Team For Change, Anil Kalsi (Ambe World Travels), Lalith Jain (My Travel Agent), Seeraj Sabharwal (Charter Tours & Travels), Rani Bachani (Vice Regal Travels & Resorts) and Rai Achal Krishna(Travel Assistance Bureau) were all elected to the new Managing Committee of the association.
Earlier, while speaking to Travel Trade Insider in the run-up to elections, Prakash had shared that his priorities will include strengthening the membership of the association and ensuring that interest of agents is safeguarding in matters concerning airlines.
