I Prefer Alliance Program debuts in Indian sub continent

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced two global initiatives to the India market – the launch of its global loyalty program – I Prefer Alliance, and also the first ever I Prefer Members’ Choice Awards – that recognize distinct hotels worldwide for their excellence in hospitality. 
 I Prefer Alliance allows independent hotels and regional hotel brands to extend full benefits of I Prefer Hotel Rewards to members of their distinctive guest benefit programs. This is the first of its kind step towards empowering independent and regional hotels across destinations worldwide and in India to foster impactful guest loyalty. 
Seema Roy, Area Managing Director – South Asia, Middle East and Africa, for Preferred Hotels & Resorts said, “Looking ahead, we believe that this significant move will positively transform and enhance independent travel experiences in the region by empowering participating partner hotels with the tools to reward guest loyalty, and create positive demand for the industry from around the world.”   
 I Prefer Members’ Choice Awards by Preferred Hotels & Resorts celebrates hotels worldwide that are delivering high quality standards and personalized experiences to members of the brand’s I Prefer Hotel Rewards program. 
The winners were determined by votes collected from I Prefer members and forty exceptional hotels were awarded across four regional categories. The list includes iconic properties – New Orleans’ Hotel Monteleone voted the #1 hotel globally, and top honors in the other regions going to Pulitzer Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Royal Plaza on Scotts in Singapore, and Half Moon in Jamaica.
Introduced as a points-based model by Preferred Hotels & Resorts in August 2013, I Prefer currently is the world’s largest global points-based loyalty program for independent hotels as per a press release issued by the company. As of January 2019, more than three million consumer members have enrolled in I Prefer and can take advantage of a range of benefits available at more than 650 participating worldwide.
