Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) will officially open its doors on April 17

An iconic tourist destination situated in the heart of Changi Airport, it promises an extensive mix of one-of-a-kind play attractions, distinctive retail and dining experiences, comfortable accommodation and aviation facilities designed to appeal to travellers and visitors from the world over.

Envisaged to be the next icon in the Asian travel scene, Jewel comprises ten storeys (five above the ground and five basement storeys), covering a total area of 137,000 square metres (sqm) and will be connected directly to Changi Airport’s Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
Designed by world renowned architect Moshe Safdie, Jewel will also have its own 130-room YOTELAIR Singapore Changi Airport, ideal for busy travellers who need flexible check-in and check-out timings. Additionally, passengers with late departures from Changi Airport will enjoy the convenience of early check-in for their flights with storage available even for their hand-carry luggage.
Jewel transverses seamlessly with nature through its awe-inspiring, large-scale attractions. One of the centrepiece attractions will be the 40-metre tall Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. It is expected to thrill visitors with its majestic display of water power.
Jewel will also be home to the Forest Valley, a huge four-storey garden filled with the largest indoor collection of plants in Singapore, along with exotic plants and trees from Australia, Brazil, China, Malaysia, Thailand and USA. Specially-created F&B spaces with terraces overlooking the Forest Valley will offer a breath-taking view, creating a blissful garden dining experience within an indoor environment.
