Visit Almaty partners with Salvia Promoters to boost tourism from India

Visit Almaty, the official tourism bureau of Almaty, Kazakhstan, has partnered with Salvia Promoters to represent and promote the destination in India. This collaboration aims to enhance Almaty’s appeal as a premier tourist destination for Indian travellers, offering unique experiences, breathtaking landscapes and vibrant cultural attractions.

Almaty, renowned for its stunning mountain vistas, lush parks, and dynamic city life, is positioning itself as an accessible short-haul getaway for Indian tourists. The city’s visa-free travel policy and direct flight connections make it a convenient destination for both leisure and business travelers from India.

“We are excited to expand our tourism outreach in India,” said Kamila Lukpanova, CEO of Visit Almaty. “Through this collaboration with Salvia Promoters, led by Mr. Prashant Chaudhary, we aim to showcase the unparalleled beauty of Almaty and encourage more Indian travelers to discover our city. Almaty is a perfect blend of nature, culture, and urban excitement, offering something for everyone.”

Salvia Promoters will spearhead a series of promotional initiatives to highlight Almaty’s diverse attractions, including its historical landmarks, ecological adventures, culinary delights, and adventure tourism activities. The agency will also work closely with Indian travel agencies, organize travel workshops, and host promotional events to raise awareness about Almaty’s unique offerings.

“This is an incredible opportunity to promote Almaty as a premier tourist destination,” said Prashant Chaudhary, Director of Salvia Promoters. “We are committed to bringing the essence of Almaty to Indian travelers and strengthening the tourism ties between our nations. Travelers can look forward to tailored tour packages that include cultural experiences, outdoor activities, and special events throughout the year.”

Chaudhary also highlighted Almaty’s potential as an international destination for Indian weddings. With its scenic beauty, luxurious hospitality services, and accessibility, Almaty offers a unique backdrop for lavish wedding celebrations. “The Indian wedding market is one of the largest in the world, and an increasing number of couples are seeking international locations for their big day. Almaty has all the elements to cater to this demand, making it an ideal choice for couples looking to create unforgettable wedding experiences abroad,” he said.

Additionally, the collaboration will focus on the growing FIT (free independent travelers) and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments in India, capitalizing on Almaty’s blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and modern infrastructure.

The partnership will kick off with a series of promotional campaigns aimed at raising awareness about Almaty’s travel possibilities. These efforts will showcase the city’s dynamic offerings and position it as a must-visit destination for Indian travellers, whether for leisure, adventure, business or weddings.
