The Board of Directors of the 47-year-old STIC Travel Group have announced the promotion of Anju Wariah, from Senior Vice President of Alliances andCorporate Affairs to the position of Director – Group Business Development effective September 1, 2021.
With a career spanning over three decades, Wariah is an aviation specialist and industry veteran. Having held various leadership positions at STIC, she has successfully launched and grown multiple international airline operations in the Indian marketplace.

Wariah joined STIC in 1991 after completing her Masters in Arts from Delhi University. Having worked across airline reservations, airport operations, pricing, sales and business development, she has managed multiple teams and products and continues to lead a significant part of the STIC GSA business.
She will continue her role in leading the airline sales business of STIC GSA Services Private Limited as she takes a seat on the Board of Directors of STIC Travel Group with the promoter family.
